What you no longer need could be exactly what another needs.
ReSource connects college juniors and seniors to share, sell, exchange, or lend academic resources — making education more affordable and sustainable.

The Problem & The Campus Solution
Academic resources are expensive, sit idle after exams, and lack a direct campus channel. ReSource connects both sides seamlessly.
Juniors spend heavily buying new textbooks online. Seniors leave valuable gear in hostels or dumpsters with no easy way to pass them down.
Verified seniors list unused items to free up space. Juniors find books and tools at direct student prices right on campus.

The resources already exist. They're just not connected.
Every semester, thousands of students buy identical books while thousands of seniors let theirs collect dust.
Expensive Resources
New students spend thousands of rupees on single-use textbooks, engineering drafting tools, and calculators for 1-2 semesters.
Wasted Material
Seniors pass their exams and have high-quality notes, lab equipment, and question banks sitting forgotten in hostel cupboards.
Storage & Disposal Issues
Students graduating or shifting rooms struggle to store heavy academic gear and end up throwing away good study material.
No Direct Connection
Juniors don't know which senior holds the exact book or lab instrument they need, and chat messages get lost instantly.
Visual Flow Comparison

Privacy & Policy Guidelines
ReSource (a TutorNxt Enterprise) is built on campus trust. This privacy document outlines how we handle student verification, listing data, and safety policies.
1. Information We Collect
To ensure safety across campus ecosystems, ReSource collects minimal necessary personal details required to verify student identity:
- Account Credentials: Name, university domain email address (
@university.edu), college name, department, and academic year. - Resource Listings: Titles, course categories, descriptions, campus address, city, state, pincode, sharing modes (Sale, Free, Swap, Lend), and condition notes.
- Usage Data: Basic anonymized logs, browser device metrics, and session tokens to optimize loading speed and secure account sessions.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to maintain a trusted campus directory and connect verified students:
- To verify active enrollment and filter out commercial non-student vendors.
- To allow juniors and seniors to search listings by subject codes, college, city, and academic departments.
- To send notification alerts regarding listing status, peer inquiries, or safety updates.
- To prevent fraudulent behavior, impersonation, or platform abuse.
3. Financial Transactions & No Third-Party Selling
Zero Direct Payment Processing: ReSource does NOT process payments or store banking/card data on our servers. All monetary settlements (cash or direct UPI transfers) take place directly between students during physical campus handoffs.
No Selling of Data: ReSource and parent company TutorNxt will NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketing companies.
4. Peer Safety & Direct Contact Options
When you publish a listing, your specified contact method (e.g. in-app chat or phone number) becomes accessible only to other verified logged-in students from your campus network. We encourage all members to meet in public campus zones like the central library, canteen, or departmental blocks.
5. User Control & Data Deletion
You retain full control over your listings and personal account profile. You can remove active resource listings at any time through your dashboard or request complete account deactivation by contacting resource.tutornxt@gmail.com.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
ReSource functions as a peer-to-peer campus exchange network. This policy outlines how listing cancellations, item inspections, and transaction resolutions operate across our platform.
1. Peer-to-Peer Physical Handoffs & Direct Payments
All purchases, loans, and swaps occur directly between student peers in person on campus:
- Mandatory Pre-Payment Inspection: Buyers are strongly advised to inspect books, electronics, or lab equipment thoroughly during the campus meetup before making any cash or UPI payment.
- Finality of Sale: Once both peers inspect the item and finalize the direct transaction, the sale is considered final unless agreed otherwise in writing between the two parties.
2. Listing Cancellation Policy
Seniors and sellers retain complete control over their published listings on ReSource:
- Pre-Exchange Cancellation: A seller or buyer may cancel a planned meetup or exchange agreement at any point prior to physical handoff without incurring any fees.
- Removing Listings: Sellers can mark an item as sold or delete their active listing at any time via their dashboard or by submitting a removal request.
3. Platform Services & Verified Listing Fees
In cases where users purchase optional featured listing slots or verification badges provided directly by ReSource:
- Service Fee Refunds: Platform service fees are eligible for a 100% full refund within 7 days if the promoted feature was not properly rendered due to technical errors.
- Processing Time: Approved refunds for platform services will be processed back to the original payment source within 5-7 business days.
4. Dispute Mediation & Misrepresentation
If an item provided during a handoff significantly differs from the description published on ReSource (e.g. missing critical textbook pages or defective electronics), the buyer has the right to refuse the exchange at the meetup point. If a dispute arises post-exchange regarding misrepresented items, ReSource admins will mediate to encourage a fair peer resolution or issue listing warnings.
